Fans Duggu became the dream boy of many girls, he broke their hearts by tying the knot with his childhood sweetheart Sussanne Khan the same year. However, destiny had different plans for the lovebirds. After enjoying 14 years of marital bliss, the duo got divorced in 2014. While media reports have claimed various reasons for their separation, recently, Rakesh Roshan disclosed the reason for their separation.
Rakesh Roshan 'discloses' reason!
During a recent chat with Yuvaa, Rakesh Roshan said, "Whatever has happened has happened between the couple. For me, Sussanne is Sussanne."

Further, he added, "They were the ones who fell in love, they were the ones who had a misunderstanding, and they have to solve it. For us, she came to our house, and she is still a member of the house."
Furthermore, he also spoke about his bonding with his children, Hrithik and Sunaina Roshan. When asked if they ever discussed their personal relationships, with him, Rakesh said, "Hrithik and my daughter are a little scared of me. I don't know, maybe because I am a well-disciplined man."

"I am not a short-tempered person, I am not a person who will scold anybody but I am very disciplined. When they were little, they wouldn't talk to me openly, now they do. Now, we are like friends at home," he added.

Though they have moved on in their lives, even after their divorce they continue to be friends and co-parent their two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Currently, Hrithik is dating Saba Azad while Sussanne is in a relationship with Arslan Goni. Moreover, Duggu and his ex-wife are friends with each other's partners and are often spotted hanging out together.
