A Japanese man surprised everyone when he donned a realistic Border Collie costume and even mimicked behaviour of a dog on the streets. The moment the video went viral everyone started questioning what made him transform into a dog. Incidentally, this man paid over Rs 11 lakh to look like a dog.
It is not the first time that a Japanese has invested such a huge amount to look like an animal. A couple of days before this incident, a Japanese engineer from Tokyo paid 3 million yen so that he can turn into a gray-coloured wolf. According to both these men, it was their childhood dream to turn into an animal.
Surprisingly, their fetish is not only limited to turning into a dog or a wolf but they even want to live like these animals. The video clip shows the man-turned-dog interacting with other dogs on the street, with others sniffing him and he responds in a typical dog-like manner. The reason why he took the appearance of a collie dog is because he feels that it suits him well.
But he has not stopped at that. The man who to date remains unidentified has also bought a dog crate for himself so that he can sleep in it. The Japanese hired Zeppet, a local company specialising in modelling and sculpting for television commercials and films to prepare a costume for him. The company took 40 days to develop the complete outfit.
He does not want his friends or colleagues to know about this hobby and hence has kept it under wraps. Instagram users were quick to comment on this new hobby among the Japanese with many saying that dogs are more loyal than humans and hence a safer company.
A few users also said that thankfully, they are just donning the costume and did not undergo surgery to get that doggie look. There are a few who even said that the Japanese are lonely people and hence are doing such things.
