Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar share a very close bond. The Dharma Production house owner has always said that for him SRK is the biggest superstar ever and that he has always held him with great respect and admiration.
Both of them share a strong bond and at one point in time when Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan were working together back to back for movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna there were rumours that both of them are gay and are having an affair. Although SRK was married at that time with two children and to date has an image of a committed family man these rumours kept on circulating in the print.
During one of the interviews Shah Rukh and Karan were asked about their gay encounters and about the rumours that the director designs his wardrobe and the superstar stays at Karan’s place. The Badshah of Bollywood jokingly said, “I take off his wardrobe and we sleep together. Most of the time making love. That’s the God’s truth.”
Undoubtedly, the Bollywood superstar made this statement cynically joking about the way people were spreading wrong rumours about him and Karan Johar. While Karan Johar has always maintained silence on his sexual preferences, ardent SRK fans can never believe that their superstar can do such things.
Work-wise Shah Rukh Khan is now busy shooting for his upcoming project Pathaan 2 which will be a sequel to one of the biggest hits of Bollywood. Pathaan was the movie that brought back the superstar into the reckoning and with the sequel, SRK will consolidate his position further.
He also has given a nod to a project titled King in which his daughter Suhana Khan will be making her Bollywood debut.
