Karan Johar recently said that he wanted to murder Anushka Sharma’s career completely as he was against Aditya Chopra giving Anushka a break with his directorial venture Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Nevertheless, the success of the movie and later on few others proved that Anushka deserved the big launch. This is not the first time the Dharma boss had made such a sadistic remark against other leading Bollywood actresses.
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director was quite menacing to Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone when they appeared in one episode of the Koffee with Karan show season 4.
The leading stars had come on the show when Deeps had split from Ranbir Kapoor and was rumoured to be dating Ranveer Singh. It was the time when PeeCee and Deepika had just completed working together for Bajirao Mastani.
Replying to a question from Karan Johar that actors cannot get along with each other, Deepika said that it is a common perception that actors do not get along with each other but that is not true.
According to her, she has been friendly with Anushka and Katrina Kaif. Karan then interrupted in between saying that he almost choked when Deepika said that she has been friendly with Anushka and further added that if she is thinking that she is a friend of Anushka then she is definitely living in a bubble.
Interestingly, Anushka and Ranveer were rumoured to be in a relationship and later on either drifted apart or Ranveer just got closer to Deepika and that caused the rift. Deepika had made a tattoo of Ranbir Kapoor-RK on her neck when they were dating. However, she had not taken it off for a long time even after their split and when Ranbir started dating Katrina Kaif.
Karan asked the Gehraiyaan actress when that 'tattoo is coming off' which embarrassed the actress quite a bit. At that juncture, Deepika said to Priyanka that can somebody slap him and the latter said that someone should slap him.
