Actress Triptii Dimri is in the headlines following the reports of her exit from Kartik Aaryan's Aashiqui 3. Reportedly, unlike the OG Aashiqui girl Anu Aggarwal and Aashiqui 2 star Shraddha Kapoor, Triptii lacked 'innocence' and didn't fit the requirements for the female lead. However, filmmaker Anurag Basu, who is supposed to direct Kartik's Aashiqui 3, cleared the air.
During a recent interview with Mid-Day, Anurag Basu said that Triptii's exit from Aashiqui 3 has nothing to do with her 'innocence'.
Basu said, "That's not true. Triptii knows it too."

According to an earlier report by Zoom, a source told the portal that the fundamental requirement to be the female lead of Aashiqui 3 is innocence reflecting through. However, the team observed that with her recent films, Triptii has become 'too exposed to be cast in the romantic film which demands purity in demeanour from the female lead'.
The Peepingmoon in its exclusive report, quoted a source as saying, "One of the key qualities sought for Aashiqui 3 was innocence and purity. Tripti Dimri’s recent films have created a different image, which does not match with the romantic and pure mood of the film."
Thus, the makers found that Triptii does not fit the parameters to play the female lead.
Well, the latest development makes it clear that Triptii's 'boldness' was absolutely not the reason for her exit from Aashiqui 3. However, fans certainly would be interested in learning the real reason for Triptii's exit.

Currently, Triptii is basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She will be next seen alongside Shahid Kapoor in Arjun Ustara. She also has Dhadak 2 in her kitty.
