Triptii Dimri dropped from Kartik Aaryan's 'Aashiqui 3' for her boldness!

Triptii Dimri emerged as the most successful actress in 2024. First, it was Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal followed by Vicky Kaushal's Bad Newz, Rajkummar Rao-starrer Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Despite the backlashes for her boldness, Triptii rode high on success and went on to become The Most Popular Indian Star of 2024 on IMDb's list. However, it seems, due to her boldness she lost a major project that she was keen to work on. It is none other than Kartik Aaryan-starrer Aashiqui 3.

Notably, certain earlier reports confirmed that Triptii Dimri is locked to play the lady lead opposite Kartik in Aashiqui 3. However, the latest report by Peeping Moon claims that Triptii has been dropped from the project.

According to Peeping Moon, a close source to the development said that the actresses in the previous parts of Aashiqui, Anu Aggarwal and Shraddha Kapoor, had a certain kind of innocence and simplicity.

The source was quoted as saying, "Triptii’s recent films do not reflect that kind of image, and hence she was not considered suitable for the lead role of the film.”

Well, another report by Midday claims that Aashiqui 3 has been put on hold indefinitely. The report stated that Triptii was excited to headline the romantic saga. But, it will not be happening now as Aashiqui 3 is undergoing a title-related dispute.

Well, fans need to wait for an official confirmation from the team and wait until they make an official announcement regarding the cast.
