Tollywood's Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming rom-com horror The Raja Saab is one of the much-awaited flicks. According to the last reports, The Raja Saab, also starring Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar, is nearing completion, but has skipped the summer release. While there has been no official clarification from the makers, it seems, Maruthi has finally broken his silence and promised a major update soon.

Maruthi Hints At Major Update!
On Wednesday, Maruthi took to X and shared a picture featuring an auto-rickshaw, with the still of Prabhas' look from The Raja Saab.
He captioned his post, "HIGH ALERT…!! HEAT WAVES gonna rise even higher from mid-May!.” (sic)
Well, Maruthi's post indicates that a major update is coming in a few days. Meanwhile, the post has triggered excitement among fans. The comments section is flooded with speculations about whether Maruthi will drop the teaser or announce the release date of The Raja Saab.
As it seems, fans have to wait for a few days with patience for the major update.

Notably, The Raja Saab was earlier scheduled for April 10, 2025. However, due to production delays, the movie's summer release plan was skipped.
Reportedly, Maruthi wants to execute the heavy VFX work in the movie flawlessly. Moreover, Prabhas was reportedly unhappy with a few action sequences and asked to reshoot the scenes. Thus, the horror-comedy thriller flick was progressing at a brisk pace. Even music composer S Thaman revealed that all tracks of The Raja Saab were scrapped and new songs were composed.
