The Kapil Sharma Show is returning soon on television and fans are just eagerly waiting for it to start airing. Interestingly, yet another comedy show that features Farah Khan as the special judge and two teams that include some of the topmost comedians, singers, and performers kicked off on Zee Television on 31st July. But, it is yet to win the hearts of the audience who are used to Kapil-style comedy.
On the other hand, fans are enthusiastically following the updates on the upcoming season of The Kapil Sharma Show. One of the reasons why this comedy show on Sony Television is such a big hit is because it was the first show in India that took standup comedy to the next level. Earlier there were comedy shows but most of them were serials or reality shows in which the comedians competed with each other like Comedy Circus or The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
But Kapil Sharma’s show was the first of its kind that offered the comedians independent identity, stardom, and fame. While earlier Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sunil Grover or Sudesh Lehri were famous for their comedy, it was Kapil’s show that offered them the stardom almost similar to what big television and Bollywood celebrities enjoy.

Be it comic timing, mimicry, presence of mind, or drama, all the comedians in this team are excellent in all such departments.
Whatever the comedians on the other such shows are doing currently, it is almost a copy of what started originally on The Kapil Sharma Show. Even a good actor like Sunil Grover failed to make other comedy shows successful despite trying multiple times with other comedians who had left Kapil’s show.
Apart from the fact that the format of Kapil’s show is original, the man himself has a Midas touch which others lack. Kapil has the right mix of intelligence and comic timing that made him stand out among the rest even when he was doing Comedy Circus. So, as of now, there is no competition to The Kapil Sharma Show.
