The pair of Champak chacha and Jethalal on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is quite famous. Just as fans love to see the banter between Daya and Jethalal, in the same way, they are eager to watch the NOK-zhok and bonding between Bapuji and Jethalal. However, very few people know that before sharing the screen for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the duo also worked together in yet another hit serial on Sony SAB.
Both Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal and Amit Bhatt alias Champak chachaji featured on the hit comedy show F.I.R. While they were not the lead characters of the serial, they featured in multiple episodes portraying varying roles. Their pair created many hilarious and comedy situations in F.I.R. leading to laughter.
In one of the episodes of F.I.R., the character of Amit Bhatt was accused of teasing the wife of the character played by Dilip Joshi. In the end, the case is dismissed as Kavita Kaushik proves that no flirting or eve-teasing has taken place. After Amit and Dilip started working for TMKOC, they stopped featuring in the Kavita Kaushik’s serial.

Currently, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is being shot in a resort where the actors are fighting against black marketers. While inspector Chalu Pandey has successfully managed to identify the culprit with the help of Popatlal and Bharti, Jethalal and Babuji believe him to be a Good Samaritan.
Since there is no proof with the police or Popatlal, they are finding it difficult to stop the boss of criminals who are involved in black marketing of the COVID-19 medicines. Now, it would be interesting to see how the team of Bagha, Popatlal, Bharti, Babuji and Jethalal trap Madanlal and help Chalu Pandey put him behind the bars.
