Characters make a show special and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is no exception. Be it Daya Ben, Jethalal or even Babita ji, the characters of the show have set a direct chord with the fans with their hilarious portrayals and acting skills.
Bagha, one of the popular characters played by Tanmay Vekaria recently posted a throwback picture with some of his colleagues. The photograph is not from the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, but it has some characters from the show.
The picture posted by Tanmay on his Instagram handle dates back to 2007. The fans were elated as they got a chance to peek into the throwback picture with Dilip Joshi who plays the popular character of Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

One can also spot Ambika Ranjankar (Komal Hathi) and Nilesh Bhatt (Champaklal) in the picture as well.
Sharing the picture, Tanmay wrote, “Few memories remain forever in r hearts…(sic)” The actor further revealed that the picture was from their splendid tour of Gujrati play ‘Daya Bhai Dodh Daya.’
Reacting to the picture, Ambika Ranjankar (Komal Hathi) wrote, “Most memorable trip, most memorable play and best team till date.”
In the picture, a lot of fans though were elated, had a tough time to spot Amit Bhatt who plays the character of Bapuji or Champaklal, the father of Jethalal. Amit, who was in a yellow shirt was identified by others in no time.
Meanwhile, the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have extended the show's telecast days by one more day. TMKOC will now also air on Saturdays rather than its regular 5 days week routine to make the fans tickle even more with new episodes.
