Movies are just a reflection of human emotions and society. Viewers find some or the other connection with any film that hits them emotionally. Of course, such factors play a vital role in making a project successful. Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has taken it as a thumb rule and is all set to shatter the emotional cords of OTT audience with the nine-part Tamil anthology film- Navarasa.
The ace filmmaker has teamed up with veteran writer and maker Jayendra Panchapakesan in Navarasa. The audience will witness some exciting collaborations through the anthology that is set to release on video streaming giant- Netflix. With the anthology, the biggies are focusing on depicting nine human emotions of love, courage, compassion, wonder, laughter, fear, disgust, anger and tranquillity.

Navarasa, considered to be a landmark movie of the Tamil entertainment industry, is all set to release on 6 August 6.
The nine different stories will be directed by nine directors and each story will showcase emotions of varied actors. The nine critically acclaimed directors who will lend their incredible vision and distinctive perspective on each human emotion are Arvind Swami, Priyadarshan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthik Subbaraj, Karthick Naren, Rathindran Prasad, Vasanth Sai, and Sarjun.
Navarasa teaser that released today gives a sneak peek into the world of those nine stories. Undoubtedly, the makers haven't left any stone unturned to portray the nine emotions that everyone experiences in day-to-day life. The teaser definitely does justice to the title and promises a roller coaster ride of emotions.
The teaser starts with a note: “The emotional journey of an industry coming together to support its people”. The lines are written against a black and smoky background. Different actors then depict nine different emotions individually throughout the trailer.
Renowned actors like Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Prakash Raj, Parvathy and others will be seen together in this anthology in different individual parts. Every story will individually focus on a single emotion as it seems.
The mesmerizing theme music of Navarasa is scored by music legend AR Rahman.
