The excitement among fans is elevating for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's next King. Fans are eyeing updates on the movie as for the first time SRK is collaborating with his daughter Suhana Khan. The makers are eyeing 2026's Eid to release the movie. However, as it seems, it won't be easier for the father-daughter duo to dominate the box office. They will likely witness a box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal's Love and War.
As per recent reports, the release date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War has been postponed to March 20, 2026, during the festive time of Eid.
For the unversed, the collaboration of SRK with his daughter Suhana is the next big thing that fans are eagerly waiting for. Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, and produced by Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand, the action thriller flick King is all set to kickstart soon. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in key roles. On September 13, Pinkvilla exclusively reported, that King will go on floors in January 2025. The shooting will begin in Mumbai and the team will head to Europe for a marathon schedule.

The report quoted a close source to the development as saying that a film like King is apt for Eid release and both SRK and Siddharth have targeted to release it during the festive time in 2026.
Further, the source also revealed that the shooting schedule will be chalked out accordingly with the target of releasing it during Eid.
Meanwhile, the makers of Love and War in an official press release declared the postponement of the film to March 20, 2026. The makers postponed the release date considering the long holiday including Ramzan, Ram Navami and Gudi Padwa.
Notably, Love and War was earlier scheduled to release on Christmas 2025. Starring Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky as the lead, the movie is set in the backdrop of a war and will focus on a love triangle. SLB and team Love and War will likely go on the floors in October 2024.
Well, if the reports of King's tentative release date are anything go by, Bollywood would witness a huge box office clash during Eid 2026. Well, fans need to wait for an official confirmation.
