Sara Ali Khan has once again gone on a pilgrimage along with her soul sister. And this time the destination is Hindu’s most revered place-Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. Dressed in a simple Punjabi suit, the Bollywood actress whose first movie coincidentally was also titled Kedarnath and was shot in nearby locations shared glimpses of her spiritual journey.
From helping with the preparation of pahadi green sabzi, taking the blessings of various priests to washing her face with chilled water, and meditating, it seems Sara Ali Khan visited all the revered places near Kedarnath and tried almost everything that every devotee does on his visit to this sacred abode of Lord Shiva.
For the unversed, Kedarnath is a small town located in the lap of the Himalayan Mountains and is one of the important sites included in the Char Dham Yatra. It has a huge significance in Hindu religion with thousands of devotees visiting the Shiva abode every year.
The place is blessed with profuse natural beauty and the snow-clad mountains, glaciers, and lush greenery make it one of the most visited sites in North India.
Fans of the Atrangi Re actress are aware that Sara Ali Khan has a special penchant for visiting such places with spiritual importance.
Even earlier she shared glimpses of her visit to the Kashi Vishweshwar temple in Varanasi. Earlier in July this year, Sara grabbed headlines for visiting the difficult-to-trek Baba Barfani temple in Amarnath.
From ringing the temple bell to posing with trishul in hand, the daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan looked like a normal devotee covering her head with a dupatta. Since she is the daughter of Saif who is Muslim, many web users slammed Sara Ali Khan for visiting a temple and doing rituals.
However, she has never given much importance to such trolls and comments and continues to visit sacred and spiritual places whenever she can find time from her busy schedule.
