Sara Ali Khan has admitted multiple times that she is quite picky when it comes to spending her money. Recently, the GenZ actress was at the Times Now Summit 2025, where she opened up about handling her finances.
During the interview, the actress admitted that even today her mother Amrita Singh handles her finances and she can't spend her money without her mother's nod.
When asked how she handles her finances, the Sky Force actress revealed that over the years, she has learned that one should invest small amounts in multiple places.
Further, she also revealed, "My mom handles my money entirely. Even my GPay account is linked to her. My OTPs come on her phone.”
Moreover, when the Gaslight actress was asked if she gets pocket money from her mother, she revealed that she can't even book a ticket without her mother's approval.

Well, Sara stated that she is very much aware and mindful about where she spends her money. Though Sara admitted that she enjoys spending money frivolously, she is open to splurging sometimes. Furthermore, she divulged that since she loves travelling, she often saves money for that. Making a surprising revelation, Sara said that she doesn't own a Hermes bag and she borrows it from her mother.
