Renowned filmmaker David Dhawan is bringing back the magic of the chartbuster song with Chunari Chunari 2.0 in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur in the lead. Though remaking songs or remixing old tracks is not new in Bollywood, fans seem to have taken offence over Varun, Pooja and Mrunal's Chunari Chunari 2.0.

Varun Dhawan is currently gearing up for his upcoming with Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur. The announcement of Varun teaming up with his father David Dhawan for the fourth time had filled excitement among many. On Friday, the Bhediya actor announced the title of the upcoming project 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'.
Reportedly, Varun, Pooja and Mrunal filmed a song in Scotland's Glasgow. Now, a clip has gone viral on social media in which the trio is seen grooving to a remade version of Chunari Chunari. However, the clip has disgruntled netizens.
Soon after the video surfaced on the internet, netizens lashed out.
One user wrote, "I want to unsee this..... No creativity…." (sic)
Another wrote, "Please no....don't do thiss.with chunari chunari." (sic)
Varun's Upcoming Is Remake of Salman's Biwi No. 1?
Meanwhile, several other users claimed that Varun Dhawan is copying Salman Khan. Moreover, a few others also opined that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is a remake of Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Sushmita Sen's Biwi No 1.

Interestingly, the title of Varun Dhawan's movie is from a song 'Ishq Chandi Hai Ishq Sona Hai' from the same movie. Fans are convinced that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is a remake of Biwi No 1.
