Rajkumar Santoshi's Hindi movie Andaz Apna Apna, starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, remains one of the most celebrated comedy movies. Released in 1994, the movie has achieved cult status over the years. Fans are well aware that Salman and Aamir clashed on the sets. However, it is less known that Salman caused delays in shooting deliberately.
Andaz Apna Apna, released on November 4, 1994, recently marked its 30th anniversary. Amid this, here we bring an interesting anecdote from the film's set.
During an interview in 1992, Salman, who played Prem's character in Andaz Apna Apna, described the movie as 'the funniest film on the Indian screen ever'.

During the chat with ITMB Shows, Salman talked about his co-star Aamir, who portrayed Amar's role. He said, "Aamir is damn funny in the film. He’s a talkative character and has all the funny lines. I’m the dumbo. He’s done his role, incredible.”
Further, Sallu also revealed that he deliberately tried to break the continuity during the shooting so that it got delayed.
The Sikandar actor said, "The film is coming out in six months. I’m desperately trying to delay the film. I’m not giving them dates and harassing them with my broken leg, I’ve cut my hair short. So the continuity is gone.”
Notably, after the release of Andaz Apna Apna, rumours were abuzz that Salman and Aamir would not work again together. Interestingly, this classic comedy remains the only movie featuring the Khan duo and has never shared screen space after that. Meanwhile, recently reports have surfaced that Santoshi is working on the script of Andaz Apna Apna 2. Even the Laal Singh Chaddha actor confirmed the same earlier this year in March. However, it remains unclear whether Salman and Aamir will be seen together.
