Aamir Khan vs Saif Ali Khan for Langda Tyagi!

Saif Ali Khan played the role of antagonist Langda Tyagi in Omkara. He nailed the character with his powerful performance leaving many stunned as the character was very different from what he did. Moviegoers showered praises on Saif for his portrayal of Langda Tyagi which is still considered as one of his career best.

Here's How Saif Bagged Langda Tyagi's Role

During a recent talk with Friday Talkies, Bhatt revealed, "Aamir was ready to do the villain's role. The second choice we had was Saif Ali Khan. However, at one point, we decided that Aamir was not the right choice for the film."

Later, they locked Saif for the role though he faced a challenge. The Kal Ho Na Ho actor was not familiar with the local dialect of Western Uttar Pradesh, where the plot was set.

Bhatt stated that Saif was eager to put in effort to get into the character, so he made a lot of changes. Saif cut his hair and hired a tutor to improve his language skills.

Bhatt recalled, "Saif’s problem was the language required here. But then he started going for tuitions, he started training with another, chopped his hair."
