Rashmika Mandanna is earning in millions and is currently at the top of her career. While in Tollywood she is one of the highest paid actresses even in Bollywood she is getting decently paid after delivering big hits like Chhaava and Animal. Over the years since her debut in Kirik Party in 2016 she has amassed a huge amount of wealth. Naturally she has to pay a huge amount as tax to income tax department.

Did Rashmika Mandanna hide her income from the IT department?

In January 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic had just started to spread in India, the IT department carried out a raid on Rashmika Mandanna ’s house in Virajpet, Karnataka. At that time the actress was not at home. However, the officials carried out the process for 29 hours and it was initiated after the IT department found out that the Dear Comrade actress was not declaring her assets and income properly.

During the search the official seized 25 lakh undeclared cash and the family also admitted to hiding an income of around 4 crore. Since Rashmika Mandanna was not present during the raid her father was questioned vigorously by the IT officials.

Was Rashmika Mandanna charged with any penalty?

Despite the fact that the actress was found guilty of hiding a good amount of her earning and assets from the Income Tax department she was not punished. When this news resurfaced on the web a day ago many web users said that while Rashmika Mandanna was not charged with any penalty or punishment she was seen in government advertisements and Maharashtra government commercials just before the elections.
