Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming magnum opus Ramayana, a cinematic adaption of the Indian epic, has been generating significant buzz since the announcement. Cinephiles certainly can't wait to see Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol and Yash as Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman and Demon King. Recently, Ranbir resumed shooting for his part in Ramayana. Amid this, fresh reports have surfaced that Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Vikrant Massey are reportedly on board for the epic saga.

Ranbir Kapoor Resumes Ramayana
Notably, Ranbir Kapoor sported a distinct moustache look with slightly long hair for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. However, recently, he was spotted sporting a fresh clean-shaved look, a stark contrast from his appearance in Bhansali's period drama. Apart from his shaved-off moustache, he was seen with chopped-off short hair.
While initially it was speculated that his new look might be for the younger version of his character in Love & War, it is now confirmed that the actor has dived back into the world of Ramayana. Reportedly, he resumed the shooting for Ramayana over the past few days at Filmcity, Mumbai and has been filming some crucial scenes.
Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Vikrant Massey Onboard?
Amid RK resuming shooting for Ramayana, the fresh buzz is Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Vikrant Massey have come on board.

According to the fresh reports, a total of 20 famous actors from Bollywood and television industry have been roped in for Ramayana to play different characters.
According to the recent report by Masala, Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Vikrant Massey and Adinath Kothare have been likely roped in to play King Janaka, Vidhuytjhiva, Meghnad and Bharat's roles, respectively.
However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims.
Actors Onboard for Ramayana
It is not unknown that Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Yash will be seen as Lord Ram, Devi Sita, Lord Hanuman and Demon King Ravana in Tiwari's magnum opus. Moreover, earlier reports have confirmed that Arun Govil will be seen as King Dasarath, Lara Dutta as Queen Kaikeyi, Indira Krishna as Kausalya, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha and Kunal Kapoor as Lord Indra.
Meanwhile, reports have been abuzz that actor Mohit Raina, famously known for his portrayal of Lord Shiva in 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev', will be reprising his role in Tiwari's ambitious project. While a few viral pictures from the sets have confirmed the involvement of a few actors, some others have validated being a part of the magnum opus.
