Kannada Film Industry's (KFI) Rocking Star Yash is currently filming for the highly-anticipated Ramayana, a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic by Nitesh Tiwari. Yash is essaying the role of the Mighty Demon King Ravana in Ramayana, and fans can't wait to see the epic on-screen clash between him and Ranbir Kapoor, who is enacting Lord Ram. According to the earlier reports, after seeking Lord Mahakal's blessings at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Yash commenced filming his solo sequences in Mumbai.

The latest update reveals that the KGF star is filming an intense battle with the character of Vidyutjihva, the prince of the Danava clan who married Ravana's sister Shurpanakha. Reportedly, the action-packed sequences are being filmed on a grand scale with top-notch visual effects.

According to the epic, Ravana's sister Shurpanakha secretly married Vidyutjihva. The Demon King was enraged with his sister for marrying a Danava, who were the mortal enemies of Rakshas (Demon). Enraged Ravana waged a war against Shurpanakha and Vidyutjihva. The Danava prince was killed in the battle. Ravana was about to kill his sister. However, due to the intervention of Mandodari (Ravana's wife) and brothers, Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana, he spared her life.
