R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and director Anand L Rai came together for the first time in 2011 with Tanu Weds Manu. After the movie became a sleeper hit at the box office, the trio reunited after four years for Tanu Weds Manu Returns. The sequel became a massive blockbuster. Following that speculations have been rife about Tanu Weds Manu 3. Though the makers or the actors haven't yet made any official announcement, fans are hopeful that it will be made soon. A couple of days ago, Madhavan hinted at being replaced in Tanu Weds Manu 3. Following that, a video of Kangana has been doing rounds on social media in which she revealed her favourite co-star.
Earlier, reports were abuzz that Kangana Ranaut will be seen in a triple role in Tanu Weds Manu 3 while Madhavan will play a singular role.
When Madhavan was asked about it, the Shaitaan actor said, "As much as I would like to talk about it, I really have no idea. It has just been on Instagram."
Further, he added, "The media and people have been asking me these questions. Neither Anand nor anybody else has talked to me about part three. I have no clue and I don't know what the script is. Maybe I am not there in it. Maybe they have replaced me. I haven't got the faintest idea."

Well, amid this, a video of Kangana Ranaut surfaced on social media in which she revealed her favourite co-star.
When asked, who is her favourite co-star, she replies, "My favourite co-star is...Madhavan...Maddy.
Further, the host says, "Unki 3 Idiots ne meri life change kardi. Warna mein aj BTech Mechanical Engineer hota."

According to an earlier report by Pinkvilla, Tanu Weds Manu 3 will pick up from where the sequel ended.
The report quoted a close source as saying, "It’s a sequel in the true sense, and the creators have found a story that naturally lends itself to completing the trilogy. Like the first two films, the third will be a blend of humour, romance, and drama, remaining faithful to the original world."
According to the source, the basic concept is locked and the makers have a target to kickstart shooting in the second half of 2025.
