Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta got married at a very young age. The duo fell in love as they were neighbours. Despite their parents' being against each other, Aamir and Reena fled from their homes and had a secret court marriage. This was before Aamir's debut with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak when Aamir had just turned 21. However, their wedding day was 'ruined' by Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad.

How Javed Miandad 'Ruined' Aamir and Reena's Wedding Day?
During a recent interview, Aamir Khan shared details about how Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad spoiled his wedding day.
Recalling his wedding day, Aamir said that they had fled from their homes and secretly had a court marriage. They returned home as if nothing had happened.
Khan said, "Mujhe laga sab puchenge kahan the itni der (I thought they would question us about being so late)."
However, luckily for them, that day there was an India-Pakistan match and everyone was engrossed in it. So, nobody even noticed whether they were at home or not.
Further, the Sitaare Zameen Par actor shared, "It was India-Pakistan match day. The same match where Javed Miandad hit a six on the last ball. We were winning that match, so nobody cared to ask is our absence for so long. I too joined them and was watching cricket. However, Javed's six ruined it all."
This put the actor in depression. Well, Khan later happened to meet the cricketer on a flight.
Khan said, "Once I happened to meet him on a flight when I told him, 'Javed bhai aapne thik nahi kiya. Aapne meri shaadi barbad kardi. He was like, 'Kaise?' I said, 'Usi din aapne chakka mara tha. Depression mein chala gaya tha mein."

Later, when Dutta's parents found out about their secret wedding, they were quite upset with her. Her father also suffered a heart attack. However, both families eventually got closer, and Dutta's family accepted the wedding. Later, Dutta's brother married Khan's sister Farhat. However, Khan and Dutta divorced in 2002.
