Grossing more than $1.3 billion (₹appox Rs 11k cr) at the global box office, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman became one of the biggest hits ever for Marvel Studios.
The movie once again showcased the star power that Ryan Reynolds held as the third film of the ‘Deadpool’ franchise not only became its most successful ever but also brought in significant revenue to Marvel, which was facing a slew of box office disappointments.
In an appearance on Variety's Actors on Actors chat, Reynolds however dropped hints that may make any fan of his beloved character anxious. While a ‘Deadpool 4’ film should be more than required given the success of its latest installment, the Hollywood star does not appear to be confident about playing it in the near future.

Highlighting the gap between each film of the franchise, especially, the six-year gap between ‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘Deadpool 3’, the actor feared he may not be in a position to act by the time ‘Deadpool 4’ comes calling.
“Part of the reason is that it swallows my whole life. You can't take your hand off the stick through all of it – from development to post-production into marketing and promo,” Reynolds said.
The actor especially stated how he has four kids and did not want to miss them. Yet, the time it takes to act, post-produce, and market a film is a lot of time that he has to stay absent from his family-something he does not want to.
In the same talks, he also added “Shawn and I made a movie that has a beginning, middle, and end. It's a complete experience instead of a commercial for another one.”

As such, it appears that the mega-star is content with the fact that the third ‘Deadpool’ film was a massive success and he may not find the need to return for a fourth one unless it was absolutely necessary.
