Navjot Singh Sidhu was the first permanent guest of Kapil Sharma’s show. Be it Comedy Nights with Kapil or The Kapil Sharma Show, the former Indian cricketer’s hatke jokes and Shayari were loved by one and all.
He was later on replaced by Archana Puran Singh due to some political issues. However, fans always missed his quirky style and energetic presence despite the fact Archana always kept the laughter rolling episode after episode.
Navjot Sidhu to make a permanent comeback on Kapil’s show
The good news is that now Navjot Sidhu will be a permanent guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show which will return on Netflix for its third season.
The promotional teaser shared by the OTT platform recently shows Kapil blindfolding Archana Puran Singh as Punjabi music begins and when her eyes are opened there in front of her is Navjot Sidhu.
Both of them announce that now there will be a double dose of laughter as Archana and Sidhu will serve as the permanent guests on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
For those waiting for Sidhu to return on this show, it is good news indeed. Many believe that the makers have taken this step to increase the dwindling TRP of the show.
However, there are a few who believe that Netflix does not have an audience that loves to see comedy reality shows like this one, and mostly Kapil’s show is watched by the masses and not by people from the upper classes.

A few social media users also commented that both Archana Puran Singh and Sidhu have now lost appeal due to too much exposure and that Kapil Sharma’s show needs some new guests. A few suggested that Sunita Ahuja can do the trick as she has the right masala that can keep the audience hooked or at least interested.
It needs to be seen how the comeback of Sidhu helps The Great Indian Kapil Show to raise its viewership when the third season hits Netflix soon.
