Rumours about Mrunal Thakur being madly in love with Virat Kohli once recently gained momentum with various media portals and Instagram accounts promoting the same. A few online platforms have also reported that the Jersey actress once said that she started loving cricket because of her brother and was once madly in love with the former Indian captain. Now the Bollywood actress has strongly reacted to these rumours and asked a leading paparazzi Instagram page to stop it.
Reacting to the rumour, Mrunal Thakur has commented, “@instantbollywood STOP IT OK" in response to the Instant Bollywood post that said, “There was a time when I was madly in love with Virat Kohli – Mrunal Thakur.”
While the reaction from Mrunal does suggest that she wants this news to stop, many social media users thought that it might be true but the actress does not want the buzz to keep going on as it might be embarrassing for her. One user commented, “Is it me or does that comment sound sarcastic! As in when our friends tease us for our crush we usually say “stop it ok.”
Another user’s reaction says, “Why her comment is giving the vibe that the information is true but she's kinda embarrassed lol.” While during the promotion of Jersey Mrunal had said that Sachin Tendulkar and Viral Kohli are her favourite cricketers, the way things are being blown out of proportion it seems they are being exaggerated. If the actress has directly replied to the paparazzi's Insta post it also indicates that she is definitely not happy that such news is getting viral.
Work-wise Mrunal Thakur’s last release Family Star with Vijay Deverakonda was a flop. However, she has a good lineup of movies in her kitty including Maddock Films Pooja Meri Jaan with Vijay Raaz and Huma Qureshi, Vishwambara with Chiranjeevi and Trisha Krishnan, and Son of Sardaar 2 with Ajay Devgn.
