Actor Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Luv Sinha, finally revealed why he was absent from her big wedding last month. Sonakshi married Zaheer Iqbal in a civil ceremony on June 23, attended by their parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. However, Luv was notably absent.
Luv shared a news piece claiming he avoided the wedding due to concerns about the groom father's business. He posted the article link on X, confirming he wasn't there to bless the newlyweds. Calling himself 'Shotgun Junior,' Luv explained his reasons for not connecting with certain people.
"The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team (sic)," he wrote.
The article Luv shared hinted at issues related to Zaheer father's business. It mentioned, "Apparently, one reason for anxiety was a rumour about the groom’s antecedents. With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the 'washing machine.' Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai, which was rumoured to have ended rather abruptly (sic)."
The piece also suggested the involvement of a superstar with strong connections in the UAE.
Despite Luv's absence, Kussh Sinha, the other brother, made a brief appearance at the wedding. His wife and other family members supported the bride, who expressed that Zaheer made her the happiest in life.

Following their civil marriage, Sonakshi and Zaheer hosted a grand wedding reception at a restaurant in Mumbai. Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Rekha, Tabu, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kajol, and Raveena Tandon were among the many attendees celebrating the couple's union.
