KGF fame Yash has started shooting for the magnum opus Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Known for badass acting and rowdy avatar, in Ramayana since he is playing a mythological character Ravan that has been portrayed hundreds of times in different plays and movies, it is going to be quite a challenge for the Kannada superstar.
But Yash is one superstar who is dedicated to his craft and has a reputation for being almost perfect in his portrayal of a character. And that was clearly evident when he played Rocky Bhai in the KGF series.
Yash is working with Mad Max action director Guy Norris
As the King of Lanka, the richest land at that time, and also one of the most powerful kings and warriors the character of Ravan is larger than life. Naturally, Nitesh Tiwari will ensure that this overwhelming character is portrayed in the same humungous way on the screen. Furthermore, the actions that will be a part of Ravan’s fights with his enemies including Ram and Laxman will have to be top-notch.
That is why the production team has hired famous Hollywood stunt director Guy Norris who is known for choreographing action scenes in Mad Max movies. The photograph shows Yash keenly trying to understand what Norris is telling him with another assistant giving some instructions.
The three of them are standing in front of the blue screen which is used for chroma keying, a technique that helps the directors later on to change the background.
Fans are extremely happy to know that the action sequences of Yash are being directed by Guy Norris who has choreographed stunts and actions of movies from the Mad Max franchise like Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Suicide Squad, and Mad Max: Fury Road. Most of the fans believe that hiring an international action director will turn into a game-changer for Ramayana.
The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi portraying the lead roles of Ram and Sita respectively. Ramayana will be made in two parts and is backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
