Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who are currently busy promoting their upcoming movie Sooryavanshi, recently graced The Kapil Sharma Show. While the promo of the show revealed that the audience are in a treat for a laughter-filled episode, the highlight of the promo was Katrina Kaif taking a dig at Akshay Kumar.
The promo begins with Akshay's grand entry, then host Kapil Sharma enters the stage and questions if he would keep holding the pistol in his hand for the rest of the show. To which Akshay, taking a dig at Kapil says, "Aur kya, Nakli hai, tumhare yahaan asli kya hai,” leaving Kapil speechless.

Then Katrina made her sizzling entry by performing on Akshay's hit number Tip Tip Barsa Pani in a blue elegant gown. Kapil praises her and says she look like 'moom (wax)'. Katrina then says, “Sirf aapke liye khaas blue dress pehen ke aayi hoon aur Akshay ghar ke pyjamas pehen ke aaya hai (I wore this blue dress especially for you, and Akshay came in pyjama that one would wear at home).”
Akshay, who was wearing a pink hoodie and joggers set, was quick to reply. “Kyunki yeh mera ghar hai (Because this is my home)” says the Khiladi star.
The episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Akshay and Katrina will air on Sunday but their film Sooryavanshi released today (November 5) in theatres across the country.
'Sooryavanshi' is the third film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe after Ajay Devgn's 'Singham' and Ranveer-starrer 'Simmba'.
