Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently enjoying winter bliss with Saif Ali Khan and her children at Pataudi Palace. She shared a few clicks from her winter morning enjoying winter special sarsoon ka saag, makki ki roti with lots of white butter. But before flying off for the Christmas holidays, Bebo had joined Film Companion’s Adda 2024 and shared her thoughts on the current trends in movies and changing perceptions of actors towards films in general.

The Asoka actress said that stardom will follow if the actor is talented and can connect with the audience through his/her performance. Bebo added, “It is not like, ‘Oh he has got six-pack abs, he is looking so hot, he is a big star.’ Arree please yaar! Sometimes, I feel like telling those actors, ‘Please wear your T-shirt first. I can’t even look at you.'”

She emphasized the fact that times have changed since her grandfather and father used to work in Bollywood. According to Kareena Kapoor Khan , you can survive long in this industry if you are a good actor.

Another famous actor who seemed to be irked by today’s trend in movies is Manoj Bajpayee. The Family Man actor believes that nowadays all the focus has shifted towards the box office collection of a movie and it has ruined the culture of making movies. The very talented actor said, “I’ve always spoken against the obsession with box office. I’ve always believed that it has ruined the culture of filmmaking in our country. Numbers being thrown at people’s faces isn’t the right thing to do.”

While talking to News18, Manoj Bajpayee said that the audience discussing the box-office numbers has done more harm. According to the three-time National Award-winning actor, the audience believes that if a movie has done a 100 crore collection it is a very good movie and should be watched.

The actor added, “This mindset has ruined everything related to our cinema movement. It has done so much damage to the aspect of creativity in the film industry.”
