Karan Johar is among the ace filmmakers in Bollywood. Though KJo is single, he became a father through surrogacy in 2017. Now, he is beginning to understand how challenging parenting can be. Meanwhile, he is also grappling with questions from Yash and Roohi about their mother. A few days ago, Karan said, Being a parent is never easy. In my case, I am an only child and a single father." Now, during a recent interview, he opened up about his 'one and a half relationships.'
Sharing the insights about his relationship status, Karan stated that he is no longer searching for a partner. However, he is open to the possibility of a relationship though. But, not actively seeking a relationship now. During the interview with Faye D'Souza KJo revealed about his 'relationships' status and also talked about why he shifted his focus from finding a companion.
It is well known to one and all that Karan Johar has remained single. Even, there are no rumours surrounding the filmmaker regarding his affairs or relationships. However, many are unaware that he was in a 'one and a half' relationships in his entire life.
However, he expressed his enjoyment in his single status. Moreover, he doesn't foresee changing this status. Well, the filmmaker's priority lies in managing his responsibilities towards his children and mother, rather than sharing space with a life partner.
Well, the filmmaker also revealed that he felt a void when he turned 40. But, by the time he reached 50, he didn't desire for an active relationship. However, he explored agencies and blind dates. He also met people locally and internationally. He also stated about being open to a relationship if it happens naturally but doesn't feel a pressing need for it anymore.
Earlier, during an interview with Mid-Day, KJo talked about experiencing unrequited love that inspired 'Ae Dil Hai Muskhil'.
