But a few flops in the last couple of years and it seems people are just ready to write him off. At least the latest blinds on social media seem to be targeted at maligning him as a person and as an actor.
Salman Khan and Atlee movie shelved
Fans were excited when Bhaijan announced his next after Sikandar with Atlee. Most of Salman Khan ’s fans want him to do good movies with some famous directors who can utilise his stardom and charm appropriately.
So when the news about Salman and Atlee collaborating hit the web fans were excited. While the Dabangg actor did not confirm a word about it, Atlee himself made it official in one of his interviews during the promotion of Baby John. What’s more, he even convinced the Bollywood superstar to make a cameo in Baby John. But just a few weeks ago a news hit the web that the movie is being shelved because no producer is ready to pump in money for such a big-budget project.
Salman’s dwindling stardom was given as an excuse
One of the big reasons for shelving this project was said to be because the producers do not find Salman Khan a bankable star anymore. It was directly a way of saying that the Bajrangi Bhaijan actor is no more a superstar. Instead Atlee within couple of days announced his big budget project with Allu Arjun who is currently at the top of his career with back to back success of Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2.

Now the question is why was the movie announced in a hurry by Atlee when there were no producers who were ready to back the project? Saying that the project is being revived with a new star is directly demeaning Salman Khan in comparison with the new star.
Salman Khan’s name was used just to create hype?
Now many trade analysts and critics are saying that Atlee and his team used the name of the Bollywood superstar to create hype for his project. And when the news attracted a lot of attention he simply dropped his name and revived it with Allu Arjun. Nowadays, PR strategies are working overboard with teams working carefully to develop headlines and clickbait statements so that buzz is created, views are generated on social media and more often such strategies do work.
Suddenly blinds about Salman aging due to neuralgia, his feud with Arijit Singh, and many other past things are re-surfacing again making his fans think that someone is cleverly trying to mess up with the career of Salman Bhai.
