Tollywood heartthrob Naga Chaitanya finally opened up on his divorce from ex-wife and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and called it a mutual decision. He further added that while both of them have moved forward in their lives, they continue to hold great respect for each other.
He revealed that he was being made the villain and knew how it feels to be abandoned, divorced or living in a broken family.
“Having come from a broken family, I will think 1000 times before breaking a relationship,” the Thandel actor recently shared during an interview.

During his appearance on the Raw Talks With VK podcast, he shared that his divorce with Samantha was made for personal reasons, with both of them respecting each other’s choices.
“I’m a child from a broken family. I know how that experience is. So, to break a relationship, I will think 1000 times because I know the repercussions of it. It was a very mutual decision. We went our own ways with so much grace. It’s not like it happened overnight. Obviously, I feel bad that it happened. But, I mean everything happens for a reason,” the actor said.
“You build yourself, you keep progressing, and you will find the right path soon. I believe that because it has happened to me,” he added. The ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ actor expressed desire for privacy as he is married to another woman now and requested the media and his fans to respect his wishes.
He also mentioned that he has found love again and is happy with where he is now. He urged his fans and followers to view his past relationship/marriage with Samantha with respect.
Naga and Samantha married in 2017 only to be separate after just four years of marriage. Naga is now married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala while Samantha is rumoured to have found love in Raj, ‘The Family Season’ series fame director.
