Krrish, a sequel to Koi...Mil Gaya, was released in 2006 and gave birth to an Indian superhero. Fans are well aware of Hrithik's dedication to the role of Krrish, which is evident from his physical transformation. He underwent rigorous training to achieve a clean and muscular physique, which added to his superhero character's persona.

Krrish emerged as a revolutionary movie with impressive action sequences and superhero stunts. More importantly, Hrithik has an emotional connection with Krrish and is personally inspired by the character to be a better person and make a positive impact on society. Hrithik didn't use a body double for Krrish and did the stunts himself.
But, least are aware that while shooting a stunt scene, Hrithik almost fell to death from a height of 200 ft after his safety harness broke.
In general, stuntmen are hired for action sequences. But, Hrithik's thought was 'If he was playing Krrish, and if a stuntman did the stunts, the audience would immediately identify the differences in the body language of the duo'. Thus, he decided to perform the stunts himself.
Earlier during an interview, Hrithik said, "Stunt was a big part of that character. All the flying and jumping...You had to see that this is the same guy."
The audience might remember the scene in Krrish when Hrithik jumped from a clock tower in Singapore. However, as he jumped off from the clock tower, the safety harness he was tied to, broke. He started falling from 200 ft height.
"Yeah, I fell 200 ft," confirmed the War actor during an old interview.
At the time, it was rainy season in Singapore and the shops had canopies installed outside the buildings to prevent rainwater from entering inside. Fortunately, the Dhoom 2 actor fell directly on one of the canopies and he was saved.

"My cable snapped, and I landed on a 6.4 ft canopy that had just come up because of a slight drizzle in the air. And that's what saved my life. And, that was exactly 6.4 ft and I fell head to toe exactly on it from 200 ft. So is uncanny," revealed Hrithik during an old interview with NDTV.
Sounds frightening, isn't it?
Well, currently Hrithik is shooting for War 2, also starring Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. Soon after wrapping War 2, reports suggest, he will kick off shooting for Krrish 4, the most-awaited flick.
