Akshay Kumar has done some fantastic movies. His comedy and action have been the highlight feature of his long career in Bollywood. Apart from that the Bollywood superstar is also one of the few actors in India to collaborate with Hollywood stars multiple times in movies.
While everyone is aware of Shah Rukh Khan collaborating with Akon for Ra One or Hrithik Roshan working with Barbara Mori in Kites, not much is known about Akshay Kumar’s Hollywood collaborations.
Apart from the Undertaker scene in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi none of his international collaborations received much limelight. Famous wrestler Brian Lee played the imposter version of the famous WWW wrestler Undertaker in this movie which received a lot of attention.
Kylie Minogue's song in Blue
The song from the movie Blue showed Akshay Kumar dancing with the singer Kylie Minogue. Composed by AR Rahman, the male version was sung by Sonu Nigam who later on wondered why Rahman came out with such a song that did not match the international reputation of Kylie Minogue. Although the song had caught the fancy of the audience at that time, since the movie did not do well commercially soon it went into oblivion.
Snoop Dogg and Akshay's collaboration
Khiladi Kumar collaborated with Snoop Dogg for his movie Singh is Kinng. Both Akki and Snoop Dogg can be seen in a turban in the song that features when the credits roll on.
Talking about the same, the Bollywood superstar at that time said that since the title Singh is Kinng meant a lot to many people across the world, he needed to bring something new to the table. That is why he roped in a spiritual person like Snoop Dogg who possibly will create a lasting and positive impact.
Collaboration with Ludacris
Akshay Kumar collaborated with Ludacris aka Christopher Brian Bridges for his Indo-Canadian venture Speedy Singh. Set in the backdrop of Canada with cross-cultural hockey drama at the center, the movie failed to create much impact.
Multiple cameos of Hollywood celebrities
Brandon Routh, Sylvester Stallone, and Denise Richards made cameos in Akshay Kumar's film Kambhakkht Ishq which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead. All the Hollywood actors made the cameos as themselves which was a big deal back then in 2009.
