Over the years Bollywood introduced many wonderful onscreen pairs from Raj Kapoor-Nargis, Dilip Kumar-Madhubala to Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol/Deepika Padukone.
But there were many pairs that fans would have loved to see romancing on the big screen but were never paired opposite each other.
Ajay Devgn-Katrina Kaif
Since Katrina is a tall actress who also is fantastic as an action star (as is evident in her recently released Tiger 3), it would have been wonderful to see Ajay Devgn and Katrina Kaif doing the action and romance together. Somehow though that has never happened to date.
Salman Khan-Divya Bharti
The career of Divya Bharti was very short since she died young. Even then during the short tenure of her acting career, she acted with many big Bollywood stars including Sunny Deol, Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Govinda, and others. However, she was never paired with Salman Khan although they did a photo shoot together.
Aamir Khan- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
It was a dream ad of Pepsi that introduced Ash as Sanjana also featuring Aamir Khan and Mahima. Fans would have loved to see Aishwarya and Aamir together and most probably would have featured in Mansoor Ali Khan’s Josh. However, things did not work out and the Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar director roped in Shah Rukh Khan instead.
Akshay Kumar- Manisha Koirala
Khiladi Kumar has worked with almost all the actresses of his time from Madhuri Dixit to Manushi Chillar. However, he never got to work with Manisha Koirala. Both of them are good-looking people and would have rocked the screen with strong chemistry.
Akshay has also not worked with Sushmita Sen which is too bad as Sush has just the right height that would have made her pairing with Akki fabulous.
Shah Rukh Khan - Tabu
When it comes to working with different actresses, SRK does not seem to have experimented much. He has mostly worked with Kajol, Rani, Preity Zinta, and in recent times with Deepika and Anushka Sharma. Thankfully, Farah Khan paired him with Sushmita in Main Hoon Na. Someone should have paired him with Tabu who is a fantastic actress and the fireworks between the two could have been quite spectacular.
Shah Rukh Khan-Bipasha Basu
That could have been an unusual pair but the glamour of Bips and the charm of Bollywood’s Pathaan would have been too irresistible.
