Starting her career as a model, the stunning Kavya Thapar has come a long way. The gorgeous beauty has established herself as one of the leading ladies of the South film industry and has worked with stars like Ravi Teja, Gopichand, and Ram Pothineni.

In Hindi, she has also worked with stars like Shahid Kapoor , and Vijay Sethupathi in Farzi. However, the journey to stardom wasn’t a cakewalk for Kavya. Like every outsider, she had her fair share of struggles and hardships in the film industry.

Recently, the actress recalled about a shocking casting couch experience during her struggling days. The ‘Middle Class Love’ actress revealed how a director asked her for a personal ‘commitment’ to be involved in his project.

As per News18 report, Kavya revealed she was offered a role in an advertisement during her struggling days. As told, she went to the office for the audition and met the director of the project. However, the director allegedly tried to lure her by promising four projects instead of the one she had gone for.

In response, Kavya clearly stated that she didn’t like such behaviour and warned the director. Now, Kavya is one of the most sought after actresses in the film industry with several movies in her kitty. She started her career as a model for brands like Patanjali, MakeMyTrip, and Kohinoor before foraying into movies.

She gradually gained recognition in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Kavya entered the Telugu film industry with her debut in ‘Ee Maaya Peremito’ in 2018 and starred opposite Ravi Teja in ‘Eagle’. She also had an important role in Uru Prama Bhairavakona, where Sandeep Kishan played the lead.

Additionally, Kavya was recently seen in Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Double iSmart' opposite Ram Pothineni. She was also part of Viswam, featuring Mass hero Gopichand.
