Salman Khan has signed a movie with Ghajini fame director A.R. Murugadoss to be bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is a big move by the Bollywood superstar who desperately needs a big hit after the dismal performance of Tiger 3. Everyone is excited as two big people are collaborating on a big-budget movie. Apart from Ghajini, Murgadoss has also directed movies like Holiday and Akira and has earned immense respect from the Bollywood audience.
The Bhaijan of Bollywood took to his official social media accounts and announced the project making his millions of fans happy. Salman Khan has a special fetish for releasing his movies around Eid or Diwali and this particular movie will also be releasing on Eid 2025. Next year Eid falls somewhere between March 30 and April 1.
While both Sajid and Salman might be expecting no competition for their movie, KGF fame Yash’s next movie titled Toxic is slated to hit the theaters on April 10 next year. It will be the first movie of the Sandalwood superstar after the massive success of KGF 2. His pan India fans are very eager to watch him back in action after a gap of almost three years as the sequel released in 2022.
While KGF 2 collected a mammoth amount of 1200 crores globally, the collection of Salman Khan’s last release Tiger 3 closed around 280 crores at the domestic box-office. Undoubtedly, the Tiger of Bollywood has more following in India and abroad but Yash’s status has also skyrocketed after KGF, and with the younger generation loving the Rockybhai version of the Kannada actor, they are sure to make a bee-line to the theaters when Toxic releases.
Since Salman Khan’s movie will release just 10 to 12 days ahead of Toxic, it is going to face tough competition from Yash’s movie. Needless to say, both Yash and Salman Khan are big stars which is why the content is going to be the deciding factor in this epic clash.
