Shah Rukh Khan and Dilijit Dosanjh collaborate for Don!

Ranveer Singh's upcoming Don 3, helmed by Farhan Akhtar, has remained in the headlines since its announcement. While some recent reports claimed that Don 3 is possibly shelved or postponed, a few other reports suggested Vikrant Massey will be seen as the antagonist. However, the makers haven't yet cleared the air. Amid this, recently singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh dropped the teaser of his next song, Don, in which he collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan.

On Thursday, Diljit dropped Don's teaser and fans were pleasantly surprised to see it with the voiceover of SRK. Though Diljit didn't reveal much about the song while dropping its 30-second teaser, fans are quite elated for SRK's voiceover in it.

Don teaser features Diljit getting down from a helicopter and riding a yacht. In the background, SRK says, "Puraani kahawat hain, ke sab se upar jaana hain to bohot sari mehnat chahiye. Lekin agar sabse upar tikna hain, to maa ki dua chahiye. Tumhara mujh tak pohochna mushkil hi nahin, namunkin hain. Kyunki dhool kitni bhi oonchi chali jaye, kabhi aasman ko ganda nahi kar sakti. (There’s an old saying, you need to work hard if you want to reach the top. But if you want to stay on top, you need your mother’s blessings. It’s not just hard to reach me, it’s impossible. Because no matter how high the dust flies, it can’t pollute the sky).”

Sharing the video, Diljit captioned it, "Agar Sab Se Uper Tikna Hai Toh Maa Ki Duaa Chahiye. ONE & ONLY KING @iamsrk. Surprise Anytime.” (sic)

Well, this unexpected collaboration of Diljit and King Khan has overwhelmed the fans and the comments section is flooded with interesting comments expressing their excitement to know more about SRK's part in the song.

Notably, Shah Rukh Khan played the titular role in 2006's Don: The Chase Begins and reprised his role in Don 2: The Chase Continues (2011). However, Ranveer replacing SRK in Don 3 left many shocked. During a podcast, Farhan spilt the reason behind replacing SRK. He said that the role required a next-generation actor and believes that Ranveer will bring a new depth to the character of Don. Don 3, also starring Kiara Advani in the lead, is slated to begin in 2025.
