Filmmaker Rohit Shetty brought Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor in Singham Again with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone in extended cameos. However, Salman Khan's special appearance as Chulbul Pandey in the movie thrilled everyone. Recently, Shetty dropped a hint on 'Mission Chulbul Singham' which has streamed excitement among all. Amid the anticipation among fans, whether it will be Singham Vs Pandey or the iconic cop duo will join forces, Shetty has dropped a major update on the solo movie focused on Deepika's character Shakti Shetty. The filmmaker has also revealed why Ranveer and Deepika's character had no conversation in Singham Again.
Shakti Shetty aka Lady Singham's Standalone Flick
During a recent conversation on News18 Showsha, Shetty revealed why it took so long to introduce a lady cop in his Cop Universe. Shetty said that he was waiting to have the right script to introduce the character. The thought clicked in his mind while shooting Akki's Sooryavanshi. Above all, he stated that until 2018, he was not sure that there would be a Cop Universe.
Shedding light on Deepika's standalone movie, he said that the team has a concept in mind but no script has been developed yet.
Shetty was quoted as saying, "I know what the character will be like and her basic story arc, but I don’t know her whole journey yet as a director or writer.”
Further, he added that developing Shakti Shetty's character will take time.
However, he asserted that the film led by Lady Singham would definitely happen, otherwise, she wouldn't have been introduced.
Why Shakti Shetty and ACP Sangram Bhalerao had no Conversation in Singham Again?
Notably, Ranveer Singh reprised ACP Sangram Bhalerao's character from Simmba in Sooryavanshi and Singham Again. However, Shakti Shetty and ACP Satya Balli's (Tiger Shroff) character were recently introduced in Singham Again.
However, several moviegoers were left confused as Sangram Bhalerao and Shakti Shetty had no conversation in Singham Again.

Clarifying the same, Shetty during the interview said that as Singham Again was based on the Ramayana theme, he didn't want to hurt the sentiments of the audience.
"Since Ranveer was a reflection of Hanuman ji’s character, it could’ve gone seriously wrong. There’s a banter between Ranveer and Akshay (Kumar) also and we could have done something similar with Ranveer and Deepika too. But we consciously took this decision. We knew in our heads what we can do, what we can show, and what we can say," Shetty was quoted as saying.
He also said that he would have loved to bring them together and put a scene where they are seen engaged in banter.
