Jin's new album, Echo, will be released at 1 PM KST on May 16, 2025, as confirmed through a unique promotional video displayed in Seoul. This marks his first solo comeback since completing his military service and follows closely on the heels of Happy, which debuted in November 2024.

A Playful Tease: Fans Join a Hide-and-Seek for the Release Date
To generate buzz, BIGHIT MUSIC initiated a creative hide-and-seek promotion for the album’s release date. A video displayed on Korea’s largest LED screen at COEX K-POP SQUARE MEDIA featured Jin holding a placard with the official date — cleverly hidden inside a crane game machine full of dolls.
This interactive campaign runs from April 15 to April 19, 2025, with the video being shown every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 11:30 PM daily. The goal: to let fans discover the release date in a fun and engaging way while celebrating Jin’s comeback.
Teaser Highlights: Loud, Wild, and Rock-Inspired
Along with the announcement, a teaser image was released featuring bold slogans such as:
“PLAY IT LOUD”
“BORN TO BE WILD”
“ROCK YOUR HEART OUT”
These hints suggest a vibrant, high-energy direction for the album — possibly infused with rock elements, building anticipation for a more daring musical expression from Jin.
