The controversy kicked off post the terror attack on an army camp in Uri when the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association imposed a ban on Pakistani actors from Bollywood. The film fraternity was divided on this decision- while some supported the ban till the relations between the two countries improve, Salman Khan’s statement that came in the support for Pakistan artists broke out the row.
