Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu, who was last seen in 2015's Alone, is all set for a comeback. Notably, the actress took a break from acting and is gearing up for a comeback after a hiatus of 10 years. During a recent interview, Bipasha confirmed her return to acting. The actress revealed why she took a long break and how she desires to explore new opportunities.

Bipasha Basu On Taking a Long Break and Comeback
Notably, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover met on the sets of 'Alone' and fell in love. They tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Devi Basu Singh Grover in 2022. As a devoted mother, Bipasha prioritises her time with Devi. Now, the actress is all set for a comeback but with meaningful projects that would make her daughter proud.
During a recent interview with ETimes, the Raaz actress also revealed that she desires to explore new opportunities, striking a balance between her passion for acting and family commitments.
The Race actress was quoted as saying, "I have worked from the age of 15, so I needed a break. When I got married, I definitely consciously stepped back. I wanted to enjoy the perks of all that I had worked hard for. Then the three years went by so fast – being in love and settling down, it was great. I don’t regret any of it."
Further, the actress reflected on her motherhood journey and said that the decision of wanting to become a mother was a little difficult for her.
She added, "I had to make some strong decisions, and it took me some time to do that. I had a baby, and now I don’t want to miss out on any time with my baby. Itni mehnat se bacha bada kiya hai. It’s as simple as that."
Bipasha Confirms Her Comeback
When the Creature actress was asked if she missed facing the camera, she responded by saying, “I do miss it. I love acting. I used to do it 365 days a year. I’ve done it for 20 years. So, I do miss it. And it’s (return to acting) going to happen soon."
Furthermore, the actress said that she is not worried about her comeback as different types of roles are now written for women and there are multiple platforms.

Fans will certainly celebrate Bipasha Basu's comeback to acting. However, they have to wait for the project announcement.
