Ace South filmmaker SS Rajamouli is currently working on his globetrotting action-adventure with Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. While his upcoming flick SSMB29 (working title) has been creating significant buzz, the makers are yet to make an official announcement about the movie. According to the last reports, Rajamouli has already wrapped up two schedules in Hyderabad and Koraput (Odisha) and is working on the announcement video. However, before SSMB29, the Baahubali maker is looking forward to some of the highly-anticipated Telugu movies.

3 Telugu Movies That Rajamouli Is Waiting For
SS Rajamouli along with his son SS Karthikeya visited Japan to promote the documentary RRR: Behind and Beyond. The documentary released on April 11, 2025, explores the making of the global blockbuster RRR.
Speaking to the media, Rajamouli shared that he is looking forward to three Telugu movies, which are highly anticipated and even fans are eagerly waiting for. Interestingly, all three movies are of actors with whom Rajamouli teamed up for the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. The actors are none other than Prabhas, Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

Prabhas' Spirit
Rebel Star Prabhas is currently one of the busiest actors in the industry with multiple projects lined up. Among several movies, the Rebel Star's upcoming flick 'Spirit' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been creating significant buzz. While there is no official update from the makers, the latest report suggests that Vanga has completed the script and is planning to start shooting from October onwards this year. Reportedly, Vanga wants Prabhas to sport a lean look for the cop character and do most of the stunts on his own to make them look realistic.
While the reports have elevated excitement among fans, Rajamouli is also looking forward to the movie.
Notably, Rajamouli and Prabhas teamed up for the blockbuster Baahubali series with which the actor became a global star. Though there is buzz around Baahubali 3, there has been no official confirmation and fans certainly want to see the powerhouse duo reuniting.
Jr NTR's Film With Prashanth Neel
Recently, the makers of NTR-Neel (NTR31) dropped a major update on NTRNeel. While Neel has already begun shooting the action-packed movie, Jr NTR will join the team on April 22. Tentatively titled Dragon, fans are awaiting more official updates on the movie.
Well, NTRNeel is on the wishlist of Rajamouli.

Ram Charan's Peddi
Power Star Ram Charan is all set for his upcoming Peddi with Buchi Babu Sana. Ram Charan's first look from the movie sent fans into a frenzy. Fans are also excited to see Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor together on screen for the first time. After the teaser release, now, all eyes are on the next updates.
