Bollywood is currently witnessing a flood of sequels and franchises. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see sequels of films that were made more than two decades ago. Be it Gadar 2 which was a sequel to 2001's Gadar or Border 2, an upcoming sequel to all-time blockbuster Border. While Gadar 2 scripted box office records and emerged as a massive hit, Border 2 is expected to break several BO records and create history. However, now Ratan Jain of Venus Records And Tapes Pvt Ltd has spilt the beans on sequels of Baazigar and Baadshah with Shah Rukh Khan.
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan and Twinkle Khanna's Baadshah (1999) completed 25 years. The much-loved entertainer still has recall value and is a big hit on satellite. On the movie's 25th anniversary, Jain spoke about if a sequel to Baadshah can be made. He also talked about the possibility of Baazigar 2.

During an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Jain stated that he keeps talking with Shah Rukh Khan and discusses on what project they do next.
"But, the first sequel I would like to make with Shah Rukh is Baazigar 2, followed by Baadshah 2," Jain was quoted as saying.
When he was asked if the makers have a plot for Baazigar 2, Jain said, "No, but we keep discussing about it."
Further, he added that the day they get the right script and director, they will start the sequel.
"And, of course, it will be made only with Shah Rukh. And he has supported the idea. But as I said, we need to get the correct idea," he added.
Further, he stressed that if they make a film then it should be the best or else they shouldn't do one.
He also confirmed Kapil Sharma's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon sequel and said that hopefully, it will go on the floors soon.
Notably, SRK collaborated with Venus and director-duo Abbas-Mustan for the first time in 1993's Baazigar. Once again, they teamed up for Baadshah. Well, Baazigar became a milestone and game-changer for SRK. With Baazigar, Khan achieved stardom and it opened gates for him to new avenues. He also worked with Venus in Yes Boss in 1997 and then in Baadshah and Josh in 2000.
