Telugu Film Industry's Icon Star Allu Arjun undoubtedly has emerged as a global star following the mammoth success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The Sukumar directorial, also starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, was a rage at the Indian box office. After two months of its recording-breaking theatrical run, the journey has finally ended.

Though Pushpa 2 was released in five languages, the Hindi-dubbed version recorded the highest collection. During the 'Thank You Meet' held on Saturday in Hyderabad, Allu Arjun thanked all the regional industries of Indian cinema for their support. Further, he extended thanks to a Bollywood filmmaker for averting a box office clash with Pushpa 2: The Rule, without mentioning the filmmaker's name or the movie's title.

Speaking about the same, Bunny said, "When I called up one of the filmmakers from Bollywood, from Hindi cinema, I'm not a fan of that word Bollywood. In Hindi cinema, I called somebody and I said, they were also supposed to come on December 6. They were very accommodative, and they moved from that date. I personally called them and thanked them for moving the date, and they said, 'We're all fans of Pushpa', and if you come, then we will make way for it.”

For the unversed, Pushpa 2 hit the theaters on December 6, 2024. On the same date, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited flick Chhaava was set for theatrical release. However, the movie was postponed and will now be released on February 14, 2025. Though Bunny didn't take the movie's title or the filmmaker's name, fans speculate that the Happy actor thanked the Chhaava's filmmaker.
