A new song from Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule titled ‘Dammunte Pattukora’ was released on Tuesday night and immediately went viral on social media platforms.

The song, translated in Hindi as 'Dum Hai To Roke Ke Bata,' sparked a major online uproar for its bold lyrics and controversial timing. Lines from it included “Dammunte Pattukora Shekhawat” (If you've got the guts, catch me, Shekhawat!) and “Pattukonte vodilestha syndicate” (If you catch me, I’ll abandon the syndicate).

Composed by Devi Sri Prasad and sung by Shreyas, the track features lyrics penned by director Sukumar, depicting an intense confrontation between Pushpa (Allu Arjun) and police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil), with lyrics that highlight Pushpa's defiant nature.

However, its release amidst the ongoing legal troubles of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun did not sit well with netizens. Notably, the Telugu star has been summoned a couple of times by the police in connection with the tragic stampede that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4, 2024.
