Undeniably, fans certainly want to see more of their on-screen camaraderie. In March, John hinted at a possible reunion with Akki. Well, the latest report suggests that the duo is reuniting for a sequel of a popular movie.

Akki and John Reunite for Sequel of...
Reportedly, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are reuniting for a sequel. However, the sequel is not of any of their earlier movies. The two powerhouses are coming together for the sequel of 2016's Dishoom. If the report is anything to go by, Akki will have a memorable cameo in Dishoom sequel featuring John and Varun Dhawan in the lead.
According to a report by Filmfare, the sequel of Dishoom has been overdue for many years now. The team behind Dishoom wanted to make the sequel for a while now. However, their plan to go bigger and bolder couldn't materialise. But, with Akshay agreeing to be a part of the sequel, things seem to be falling into place.
If the report is anything to go by, Akki's memorable cameo will take the movie's hype to the next level.
Notably, 2016's Dishoom, helmed by Rohit Dhawan, featured John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna and Saqib Saleem, with special appearances of Parineeti Chopra, Rahul Dev, Nargis Fakhri, Vijay Raaz and Satish Kaushik.

Meanwhile, Akshay is gearing up for the release of Housefull 5 featuring an ensemble cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Dino Morea, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitraganda Singh and Shreyas Talpade, among others. Housefull 5 is set to hit the theatres on June 6.

Akki also has the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla and he recently wrapped the shooting. The movie is scheduled to release on April 2, 2026.
