After leaving a positive impact, the Babushaan starrer Odia movie ‘DAMaN’ is all set to hit the theatres in Hindi on February 3, 2023.
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on Friday shared the official Hindi trailer of DAMaN on his official Twitter account.
“Jab badhega ek kadam badlaav ki taraf, tab banegi nayi misaal. Presenting the official Hindi trailer of #Daman. In cinemas on 3rd Feb, 2023,” tweeted Ajay Devgn.
The movie, based on the struggle of a doctor to make the tribal-dominated district of Malkangiri free from Malaria, has already won accolades from across Odisha. Released on November 4, the film received huge appreciation in Odisha and other states too.
It is pertinent to mention here that the biographical social drama film has been written and directed by Debi Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya. The movie portrays a young doctor’s relentless fight against superstitious beliefs and struggles to make tribal people aware of Malaria in the inaccessible areas of Malkangiri district.
In November, the Odisha government had made the Odia movie DAMaN tax-free in State. The movie is based on the real-life accounts of Dr. Omkar Hota, who saved hundreds of lives in Malkangiri.
