After shattering box office records and roaring at movie theatres, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ is all set to release on the OTT platform. As per reports, OTT giant Netflix has acquired the rights of ‘Animal’, which is now running houseful in movie theatres.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, the film is all set to cross the 500-crore worldwide in just a few days of its release.
As far as the OTT release date for ‘Animal’ is concerned, there’s no official confirmation regarding the exact date of release. However, as per the common trend, movies land on streaming platforms 45 to 60 days after their release.
As 'Animal' released in theatres on December 1, the film is expected to make its OTT debut in January.
As of now, Animal’s domestic box office collection stands at Rs 337 crore with a business of Rs 144 crore overseas. So, the movie has minted Rs 481 crore in total, and if the positive response continues the movie will very quickly breach the Rs 500 crore club.
With the stupendous success of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor will score a hat-trick after the success of ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and ‘Brahmastra’. On the other hand, Sanju continues to remain Ranbir Kapoor’s career-best with a worldwide collection of Rs 588.50 crore and Animal is all set to break that record.
