What Happened at the Event
According to eyewitness accounts and social media videos, Vishal appeared fatigued upon arrival at the event. While on stage, he suddenly fainted, prompting immediate concern among attendees. Former Tamil Nadu Minister K. Ponmudy, who was also present, swiftly coordinated with the event management team to rush Vishal to a hospital in Chennai.
Official Health Update from Vishal’s Team
On Monday, May 12, Vishal’s team issued a formal statement regarding his health condition. The statement clarified that the actor experienced a brief episode of fatigue, likely due to skipping his regular meal and consuming only juice earlier that day.
‘He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors conducted a thorough check-up,’ the team shared.
‘Fortunately, there is no cause for concern. The medical team has confirmed that Vishal is in good health and has advised him to maintain regular meal timings going forward.’
The statement also expressed gratitude to fans and well-wishers for their support and concern.
Past Health Concerns
This is not the first time concerns about Vishal’s health have surfaced. In January 2025, the actor was seen at a public event appearing visibly tired, with videos showing his hands trembling while speaking. His team had then dismissed any serious health concerns, attributing the appearance to exhaustion.
